Cell-site Survey App

Cell-site Survey App enables forensic surveys of the cell-sites that provide coverage for a crime scene.


It records the cell Id, frequencies and signal strength against the GPS location. Locations of interest can be marked and the Officer can track their progress during the survey. A working copy can be downloaded onto the phone. The survey results are saved as a hashed (Gold) copy to a trusted server for later retrieval.

  • A map of the location is displayed enabling the Officer to monitor the progress of the survey.
  • Key locations can be marked and labelled with GPS location.
  • Location and serving cell details are recorded with GPS location every x seconds and displayed on map.  Cell-sites are colour coded.
  • Survey can be paused and re-started.
  • A working copy can be downloaded onto the phone at the end of the survey.
  • A hashed evidential (Gold) copy is transmitted to focus-in.telwhere the Officer can log onto their account and download. This is a premium service.
  • A full audit trail is maintained for chain of evidence and can be downloaded
